As we continue to struggle through this week's pre-finals frenzy, let's take a moment to celebrate the kick-off of this year's Penn Relays. Read the DP's special edition online here and in print.

Community criticizes Penn's approach to PAO ban

Penn students, faculty, and organizations have shared varying perspectives on the University's decision to ban Penn Against the Occupation, a pro-Palestinian student group, from campus last weekend. Multiple individuals who spoke with the DP cited concerns about free speech and inconsistent disciplinary measures on campus.

Many members of the Penn community also criticized the University's lack of transparency surrounding the organization's discipline.

In 2016, the DP reported that a team of three Wharton sophomores received the top prize at the Deloitte Consulting Undergraduate Case Study Competition, beating out 16 other universities. Yesterday, Wharton's Venture Lab awarded over $150,000 to student entrepreneur teams who competed in Penn's annual Startup Challenge.
