The Penn Museum and Philadelphia Museum of Art have partnered to offer ‘Art Staycation,' a limited-time, discounted admission price for both museums.

The offer, which is available on both museums’ websites until Labor Day on Sept. 6, is intended to “expand cultural access to all this summer,” according to a press release published by the Penn Museum. Upon purchasing tickets, individuals will be provided with a one-use voucher that can be utilized until Sept. 20, with the option to visit each museum on separate dates.

Art Staycation is made up of several deals for combined admission to both museums. Individual adult visitors can save $10 with an "Adult Combo Ticket" and families can save $20 by purchasing the "Family Four-Pack," which provides admissions for two adults and two children. Smaller families can save $3 on youth tickets for children ages six to 17.

PennCard holders also can save an additional $5 on adult admission tickets at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in addition to the existing policy of free entry to the Penn Museum. Members of either museum can save $5 on adult tickets at their non-member institution through discount codes accessed through member emails.

By purchasing discounted tickets, visitors will have access to newly opened exhibits across the two museums. The Philadelphia Museum of Art recently opened galleries highlighting contemporary, modern and early American art and Penn Museum has new galleries showcasing African, Mexican and Central American pieces.

In addition to the exhibits, visitors can view the refurbishment of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s galleries and spaces which were the culmination of four years of large-scale renovations by renowned architect Frank Gehry.

Both museums still offer their current discount policies. The Philadelphia Museum of Art is free for members and individuals with ACCESS or EBT cards and also offers “pay-what-you-wish" admission on the first Sunday of the month and every Friday night from 5 to 8:45 pm.
