Penn men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy will be among those in attendance at the third annual American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer March Madness Tip-Off Breakfast on Monday at the Palestra. Dunphy will join the other Big 5 coaches, Drexel coach Steve Seymour and a host of other Philadelphia-area sportswriters and sportscasters in discussing their picks for the men's basketball NCAA Tournament. Money raised during the breakfast, which lasts from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., will fund cancer research, tobacco education, advocacy and patient services of the ACS. Along with Dunphy and Seymour, the participating coaches include Temple's John Chaney, Villanova's Steve Lappas, St. Joseph's Phil Martelli and LaSalle's Speedy Morris. Coaches vs. Cancer is a three-pronged alliance between the National Association of Basketball Coaches, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and the American Cancer Society. -- Jason Bodnar
