The New Ellipticals at Pottruck are Snazzy

The start of a new school year means new freshmen, new buildings, and (for some people) a chance to reveal the plastic surgery they got over the summer, but it also means new machines at Pottruck! We snuck our cell phone into the gym so we could get some pictures.

Check out that screen--it has all sorts of functions that we cannot figure out because we are terribly out of shape, but it seems like you can plug in your iPod and set a bunch of different preferences, and you can even change the language on the screen.

We found out about the language settings when we accidentally set our machine to German.

Pros: The screens look cool More accurate seeming calorie measurements (though, sadly, lower)

Cons: Still no private TVs Buttons are sometimes uncooperative
