On Tuesday, students incorporated the "number one party school" title into the Wharton classroom.

This year's OPIM 415 class, Product Design, met in Houston Hall on Tuesday night to present their final products at the end of semester fair. Students were told to create innovative prototypes of a product they believed could be sold in the market.

One of the popular products, the Beer Guard, literally puts six-packs of beer under lock and key.

“It allows you to put your beer in a communal fridge, like a frat house, without fear of thirsty roommates,” one of the creators and Engineering senior Zach Volkman said.

The product was inspired by a bad roommate experience, where one of his housemates distributed his beer to a party he didn't even attend.

Another product drawing in crowds was Drinking Herds, a set of animal figurines doubling as shot glasses which allows users to collect a herd as they drink. The product was created with college students in mind.

"It is both fun and allows students to keep track of their alcohol consumption throughout the night," Wharton junior Brendan Smith said.

Alcohol-related designs were a popular theme of the fair. Another product was called Booze Clues, a deck of cards with each holding a unique drink recipe. The deck is organized into suits indicating a drink with different liquor, including rum, vodka, tequila or whiskey. The creators pitched the product to attendees as an entire party in a package.

Votes were collected to determine the most popular project at the end of the night.
