The Penn women’s squash team swept Williams College with a 9-0 shutout for its fourth consecutive win of the season.

The Quakers (4-0) traveled to Williamstown, Mass., on Friday to take on the Ephs (2-5), a team that hasn’t defeated Penn since 2002.

Each of the nine players participated in three sets of matches played to 11 points. The undefeated Quakers did not lose a single match in the entire competition.

Captains Nabilla Ariffin, Pia Trikha and Stephanie Vogel came into this match fresh — they did not compete against Drexel last Wednesday — contributing to the victory.

A clean sweep is nothing new for this squad. The women defeated Bates College, George Washington and Drexel in the same fashion earlier this season.

This was the last competition of the fall semester for the Quakers, who currently rank fifth in the nation. They now look forward to league play beginning in January.

The team’s first match of the spring semester will be against No. 8 Dartmouth and No. 1 Harvard — two teams they defeated during Ivy scrimmages in September.
