A robbery occurred near 40th and Pine streets at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Aug. 5.
The robber wielded a weapon, but there were no injuries to the victim, who was unaffiliated with the University. The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Pine Street at 42nd Street out of the Penn Patrol Zone, according to Division of Public Safety spokesperson Stef Karp.
The suspect has a dark complexion, is about 20 years old and was wearing a white shirt and dark pants, Karp added.
There is currently an increased Penn Police and AlliedBarton officer presence in the area.
