In terms of executive masters of business administration programs, the Wharton School continues to dominate.
Wharton took the top spot in The Wall Street Journal’s ranking — up from the number two spot in 2008, the last time the Journal ranked MBA programs. The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University formerly held the top position.
The ranking, released Thursday, was created based on three factors: a survey of recent program graduates, a survey of companies that know executive M.B.A. programs and how it taught students the various skills necessary for corporate success.
The average cost of earning an executive M.B.A. at Wharton is $167,250 — more than the tuition of any other school on the list.
