MHoops Penn beats Brown
*Senior Thomas Mattson* lost Saturday in the consolation semifinals against Princeton’s Christopher Callis, 3-1, to end his senior campaign.
*Senior diver Jeff Cragg*, shown completing a reverse two-and-a-half dive at practice, has broken both of his father’s school records during his career at Penn. The younger Cragg will compete in the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the Ivy Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend.
*Senior Thomas Mattsson* and his brother Oscar have made Penn squash a family affair. The Mattssons’ mother played for the women’s team in the 1970s.
*Junior Nabilla Ariffin* considers the ocassional loss to a top-ranked opponent “the sacrifice I have to make” to help put her team in the best position to win.

During a winter break West Coast trip, *senior captain Jess Knapp* tore two ligaments in her knee and has yet to return to action. Without her, the team has struggled, but they have missed more than her 7.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. “She’s a great leader,” said fellow captain Jourdan Banks.
With Jess Knapp currently sidelined by injury, *senior Jourdan Banks* remains the only captain in action. She has started eight of the team’s first 11 games.
Senior forward and captain Jess Knapp fell awkwardly in a Dec. 30 game against San Diego State and had to miss the Ivy opener against Princeton.
