McLaughlin has led the Quakers on a remarkable turnaround in his five years at the helm, going from 2-26 during his first season to an Ivy League title and NCAA Tournament appearance this year.

Penn senior captain Alyssa Baron scored 23 points to help the Quakers beat Princeton on Mar. 11 and is now going to try to bring a similar effort against Texas on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament.

On March 11, Penn women's basketball upset four-time defending champion Princeton to win the Ivy title. The team finished the regular season 22-6 and 12-2 in Ivy play, clinching an NCAA bid. It was the Quakers third Ivy championship and their first in 10 year.
