Two freshmen disqualified from Class Board race, election will be re-run

Two freshman candidates for Class Board president were declared guilty of violations of the Fair Practice Code, the Nominations and Elections Committee announced on Saturday, after a public hearing in Huntsman Hall. The election will be rerun because the NEC determined that the candidates' violations biased the results of that particular race.








Administration clarifies graduation, academic honors policy change

The University announced that the Graduation Honors and Dean’s List policies would be revised so that students who violate Penn’s academic integrity, student conduct or sexual violence codes would be ineligible for academic honors. The revision, however, actually allows “more students to not be penalized” when they violate Penn’s academic integrity code, according to Director of the Office of Student Conduct Julie Lyzinski Nettleton.


SPEC-TRUM cancels spring concert following two artist cancellations

On Wednesday morning, the Social Planning and Events Committee to Represent Undergraduate Minorities announced that YG would no longer be performing at the SPEC-TRUM spring concert scheduled for that night. Then, three hours before the show, SPEC-TRUM cancelled the concert altogether after Metro Boomin missed his flight to Philadelphia, according to the Facebook event.
