Maybe you've heard about it, maybe you've read about it on The Buzz, but here it is, unedited, all 6:15 of it. The rant by Lions head coach Norries Wilson was in response to a question to talk about Columbia's inconsistent offense, and opened the postgame press conference after Penn's 16-0 win over the Lions on Saturday.

Harvard lost a second key component as a result of a preseason suspension, head football coach Tim Murphy announced.

We've written a few articles over the last year about how many potential 2006 NBA draftees Penn has played against recently. Now we know how many were actually drafted last night -- nine.

Now here's a good way to wake people up on a Saturday morning: get four Jamaican teams in a high school 4x400m relay. Three such races just took places right in a row.

Many of you know sophomore David Whitehurst as a starting guard on the Penn basketball team, but once the spring season starts he's arguably Penn's best hurdler. In fact, Penn was the only school he applied to that would let him do both sports.

A big knock on Fran Dunphy has been that he's been dominant inside the Ivy League but not as good against noncoference opponents. Many hope that Glenn Miller will have more success outside the Ancient Eight, particularly against major conference programs.

Just under an hour ago, a remarkably upbeat group of Penn softball players walked into the dorm where I live. Given that they just returned from a weekend at Harvard and Dartmouth -- always the most strenuous Ivy League road trip of the year for any Quakers team -- I was surprised that they weren't all on the verge of falling asleep.

There was quite a crowd up at the Liacouras Center this afternoon to welcome Fran Dunphy as the new coach of Temple. Anybody who was anybody in Philadelphia basketball (and was not named Jay Wright) was there to say hello, or goodbye, depending on which side of the Schuylkill you're from.

Here's some audio from today's press conference at which Fran Dunphy was introduced as the new head coach of Temple men's basketball:

Congrats to George Mason, the No. 11 seed that defeated No. 1 UConn to earn a spot in the Final Four. It's a great accomplishment for the Colonial Athletic Association team and speaks volumes on on the new parity in college basketball.

DALLAS -- Greetings from the bowels of the American Airlines Center, where the Dallas Mavericks' practice court has been transformed into the media center for this weekend's NCAA Tournament games. All eight teams are having open practices and press conferences today, and with that many players and coaches around you can be sure there will be plenty of interesting things said. So I'll try to post the best of them here.
