The Palestra has seen a lot of Big 5 action over the years, including the now-defunct Big 5 Classic, where fans could enjoy a triple-header featuring all City 6 teams in one afternoon. Nowadays, scheduling issues get in the way of such large-scale events, but the Cathedral of Basketball still remains the mecca of the Philadelphia Big 5.
