The Saint Johns, a Nashville, Tennessee based band who have just released their first album Dead of Night, opened for folk-hop fusion group Judah and the Lion at the World Café Live on Wednesday night. The Saint Johns are on their first tour of the northeast, while Judah and the Lion are returning to World Café Live for a second year. The up-and-coming band experienced much larger crowds on this visit to Penn, with lead Judah Akers expressing his gratitude to the crowd; “we really don’t take this for granted,” he said.
