It's been a rough week or so. Make some brisket because you deserve it. Fair warning: this recipe calls for alcohol, so you better be 21+.

Here are some ingredients that would be useful:

  1. 1 trimmed brisket
  2. 1 thinly-sliced onion
  3. 1 can of beer
  4. 1 bottle of tomato-based chili sauce
  5. 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  6. Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (or 165 degrees celsius if that is more pleasing to you). Season the brisket on all sides with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish. Cover that sweet, sweet brisket with a layer of sliced onions. In a different bowl, mix the beer, chili sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the mixture over the brisket and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake the brisket for 3 hours. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let the brisket cool slightly and slice. This might be good with cornbread, but you'll have to find that recipe yourself.
