What's HapPENNing?

Folks, February may suck now but it's about to get a lot worse. Valentine's Day is this weekend, which means unless you've miraculously made time for a relationship between OCR, pledging, and academia, you're in for a sad week. Come Monday, you can drown yourself in half-price heart-shaped chocolates. But until then, here are some other events to fill your loveless lives.

DP Love Notes

When? Tonight, 6 p.m.

Where? Right here

Why? Too afraid to tell that girl in your class how you feel? Write a Love Note. She'll definitely read it and fall desperately in love with you.

Bring?  An unwavering optimism that your crush will actually read through all the love letters.

A Conversation with Lawrence H. Summers

When? Tonight, 6 p.m.

Where? Bodek Lounge of Houston Hall

Why? Six different groups had to collaborate to get this guy here so he must be a BFD. Also, let's be honest, you kind of miss Rebecca Stein.

Bring? Your Econ 001 notes, for the best chance of understanding what's being said.

V-Day Present: Quizzo

When? Tuesday, 10 p.m.

Where? Tap House

Why? It's a chance to show off how much you remember from high school sex-ed. Plus, all proceeds go to charity.

Bring? All your hoo-haa knowledge

SPEC Pop Up Love Fest

When? Thursday, 5:30 p.m.

Where? Bodek Lounge of Houston Hall

Why? If you were too lazy to stand in line on Locust or too slow to refresh the SPEC website in 0.5 seconds, this might be your last chance to win Caitlyn Jenner tickets.

Bring? Dinner. That free mac and cheese isn't going to last for long.

Free Power Yoga Flow Class

When? Saturday, 10 a.m.

Where? Rodin Rooftop Lounge

Why? You'll leave with health, spirituality, and an excuse to pretentiously talk about your chakra for the rest of the day.

Bring? The yoga mat you bought for one class Freshman Year and probably haven't used since then.

Philly Pick of the Week

Night Skies in the Observatory

When? Thursday, 6 - 9 p.m.

Where? The Franklin Institute

Why? We're pretty sure it fulfills the Physical World requirement.

Bring? Edibles are fine as long as you also bring a sober friend to keep all the toddlers at bay.
