What's HapPENNing?

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but this week finals, formals and freakouts is kind of what's happening. Apart from those things, however, there is still some stuff to do around Penn, so here's our weekly list of the best!

Monday at 6 pm in Huntsman G60

Advancing Women in Leadership at Penn: Join GenHERation for a talk about advancing women in the business world. This discussion will feature a number of cool and successful gals from whom Penn women could likely learn a great deal.

Tuesday from 6-8 at Commons

SWIPE Out Hunger Penn Donation Day: Although the whole dining plan thing is apparently a huge scam, defeating food insecurity in Philadelphia seems like a fairly solid initiative. Head to Commons on Tuesday to donate up to two extra meal swipes to Philabundance.

Tuesday at 7 in the Rotunda

Free Screening of the Philly Premiere of Pussy Riot: The Movement: The Pussy Riot ladies themselves will sadly not be in attendance, but this movie actually sounds pretty baller and it's free!

Wednesday at 5:30 on High Rise Field

Spring Poetry Reading: The Body Electric, one of Penn's finest poetry affinity coalitions, is hosting its annual spring Poetry reading. There will also be picnic food.

Ongoing (ends on 4/29)

Boxes of Sunshine!: Penn for of Liberty in North Korea will be holding a fundraiser this week to bring people stressing out "boxes of sunshine" full of goodies. All proceeds will go to Penn for Liberty in North Korea (Penn LiNK).

Thursday all day

100th Annual Hey Day: Class Board presents the hundredth Hey Day. Grab your shirts, hats, and canes to prance drunkenly around campus and pretend to be excited for senior year. There's also the Final Toast for the seniors!

Philly Pick of the Week from 11 to 2:30 at 13th and Locust

3rd Annual Food Truck Round Up: Head to 13th and Locust for Philly's third annual food truck feasting event. These "mobile purveyors" will also be donating 33% of their profits from the day to ActionAIDS so there's literally no reason to not attend.
