Flyerer Of The Week: Penn Players Presents: LoveMusik

Did anyone else notice how there are finally leaves on the trees over Locust? It is remarkable how quickly they creep in and cast us in shadows. However, not to be overshadowed, we profiled Penn Players and their current musical LoveMusik. We pretended to be cultured.

UTB: So who are you, and what are you flyering for?

I am Ella, and I am Genna (with a G) and we are part of Penn Players.

UTB: Okay, tbh we need a more interesting explanation than that.

Well, Penn Players is the only professionally-directed student theater group on campus, so we are über professional. LoveMusik is about the life of German composer Kurt Weill and his muse, Lotte Lenya.

UTB: Alright, say I am not interested in German composers – why else should I come?

*This was actually a good answer* Well, on Thursday (too late), Harold Prince is receiving a creativity award which is essentially meaningless because he has over twenty Tony awards. But it is his first time back on campus in a long time. Also, we are hosting a talk back with the writer Alfred Uhry, who is the screenwriter for Driving Miss Daisy. So, if you tryna network or do theater OCR, you should come.

UTB: Dope, dope. Want to diss any other theater groups on campus?

Uh, what?

Apparently there is no theater beef on campus and this question got weird and then the interview awkwardly ended.
