The Best Of SPEC's Fling Facebook Event Page

It's a trying time for SPEC. First, Kesha's team sorta, accidentally suggested that she was probably, likely, the Fling headliner. Adding insult to injury, SPEC's attempt at giving away floor passes via flash sales proved to be a complete and utter disaster

...enter UTB. Follow along as we break down the best posts that have graced SPEC's Fling Facebook event page since this whole mess began a mere 10 days ago. And remember: SPEC, despite all this madness, you R who you R, and we would never fault you for that.

Let's start from the beginning.

Admit it, you kind of felt like this when you found out the lineup:

Let's call a spade a spade.

But alas, the rumors were correct, as confirmed by SPEC's (potentially hacked?) account:

Your various GroupMe chats were abuzz according to the social relevancy of your friend groups.

The situation quickly escalated as people's dreams of a Fling headlined by a rapper were quickly crushed. (There's always next year.)

SPEC tried to do some damage control, but to no avail:

Because this gem still made it on the page.

And then, all hell broke loose as SPEC announced they would be offering floor passes through flash sales that would only be announced as they went live.

Penn students showed their resourcefulness:

And we were reminded why OCR is as cutthroat as it is.

They also displayed their eloquence:

And found comfort in each other during this confusing time.

Finally, SPEC announced that floor passes were officially sold out.

As usual, Drake served to communicate our feelings about the situation.

Nothing was the same.

UTB will be catching the concert from the roof of that obscure Chem building directly across from Franklin Field. It may face the back of the stage, but hey, at least we don't need tickets!
