Pro/Con: Taking A Stance on Bridge Café (POLL)

PROCONBRIDGE.MAR1_

Look, we get it: everyone has got their "spot" on campus, and some are just better than others. And no, we're not talkin' steamiest locales to get it in; we want to know the best places to chow down. Alas, follow along with two of our writers, Charlotte Coran and Myles Wolfe, as we pro/con our first victim, Bridge Café, to determine whether it's in or out.

CC: First of all, let me just say that it doesn't get much better than a $4.00 breakfast sandwich made with legitimate eggs. Seriously, that's a clutch dose of protein.

MW: But you're ignoring the fact that the lines are way too long. If I wanted to spend so much time for something so mediocre, I’d rather just wait for Lindsay Lohan’s comeback.

CC: Um, watch yourself, Myles. Lohan is untouchable.

MW: Whatever, Charlotte. Let's get back to the debate at hand. There's nothing worse than the fact that the employees make me converse with them. Ha, no thanks. Hesitant conversation with people I pretend to know is what Locust Walk is for.

CC: I think this is a classic case of: "It's not me, it's you." Because I quite enjoy conversing with said employees about how betches love egg whites. Let's be real, you guys know the healthiest part of an egg is the yolk.

MW: That may be scientifically accurate, but the employees also demand that I dance to the music they’re playing before I order food. No, I’d rather not awkwardly flail to “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child. This isn’t my bar mitzvah.

CC: I'll have to disagree with you on that one, Myles. I genuinely enjoy jamming to the Drake music the employees are playing while waiting for my food.

MW: Okay, let's move on to the non-food qualms I have with Bridge. Like the layout--why are there so many doors??? When one opens, a pillar of cold air freezes the place.

CC: Right, but Bridge makes getting in and out of their café exciting! Like, do you want to go in via the Huntsman lobby, or through the main entrance on Locust? Variety: the spice of life.

MW: I think the worst part of it, though, is that even though it’s bad for me, I keep on going back. It’s like a Rihanna-Chris Brown kind of thing.

CC: Now that, we can agree upon. Because Bridge is my shit, and their breakfast sandwiches will never not be the perfect hangover cure.

Alright, now it's your turn: are you with Charlotte or Myles? Cast your vote below.
