Aggravated Assault:

Oct. 4: The complainant reported being in a verbal altercation with the suspect, who then struck him in the head with a chair. The incident occurred at The Consortium, located at 451 University Ave. at about 10:40 a.m.

Oct. 8: Complainant reported during a “road rage” altercation, the suspect sprayed her through her car window with pepper spray. The incident occurred on the 3600 block of Walnut Street at about 2:50 p.m.

Fraud:

Oct. 10: The complainant reported that an unidentified suspect attempted to get change for a fraudulent $100 bill at World Cafe Live, located at 3025 Walnut St., at about 7:18 p.m.

Oct. 10: The complainant reported that an unidentified suspect used a fraudulent $100 bill to make a purchase at 3600 Civic Center Blvd. at about 3:05 p.m.

Bike Theft:

Oct. 4: The complainant reported that his bike, which had been locked with a cable lock, was missing from the bike rack. The incident occurred at Lauder College House, located at 3355 Woodland Walk, at about 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 8: The complainant reported that his unsecured bike was missing when he returned. The incident occurred at the University City Science Center, located at 3675 Market St., at about 12:30 p.m.

Oct. 9: The complainant reported that his bike was missing after it had been locked to a street sign with a cable lock. The incident occurred at The Towne Building at about 8:30 a.m.

Oct. 9: The complainant reported her bike missing after it had been locked on her front porch with a U-lock. The incident occurred at 4016 Spruce St. at about 4:30 p.m.

Theft from Building:

Oct. 4: The complainant reported an item missing after she had left it unattended and unsecured in the common study area of Huntsman Hall at about 6:55 p.m.

Oct. 7: The complainant reported her phone missing at the Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th St., at about 1:00 a.m.

Oct. 8: The complainant reported that her unattended laptop was missing from the Chemistry Laboratories: 1973 Wing, located at 231 S. 34th St., at about 12:40 p.m.

Oct. 9: The complainant reported that an unknown suspect removed his driver’s license and credit cards from his unattended wallet at The Roy and Diana Vagelos Laboratories, located at 3340 Smith Walk, at about 12:30 p.m.

Retail Theft:

Oct. 10: The complainant reported observing the suspect take merchandise and then leave the store without paying. The incident occurred at the CVS located at 3401 Walnut St. at about 8:20 a.m. The 42-year-old unaffiliated male suspect, Marvin Curry, was arrested.

Theft All Other:

Oct. 7: The complainant reported that his bike was secured with a bike lock, but the rear tire and rim were missing when he returned. The incident occurred at the Class of 1932 Ice Rink, located at 3130 Walnut St., at about 9:00 p.m.

Auto Theft:

Oct. 8: The complainant reported his car was stolen on the 100 block of S. 30th Street at about 8:45 p.m. His car was located running and unattended in the 100 block of S. 31st Street, where it had been moved by an unidentified suspect.
