The homes of the neighbors of Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) were vandalized with anti-Republican messages over the weekend, according to PhillyVoice.

The graffiti on the two vandalized houses say, “Look Out Toomey and Your Neo Nazi Republicans,” “Nazi, Slavers, Rapists, Cross-Worshippers = GOP” and “#Americans Against the Republican Party.”

Sen. Toomey, who lives in Zionsville, Pa., 50 miles north-west of Philadelphia, commented that he was “extremely distressed and disappointed.” Toomey’s Democratic opponent for the Senate, Katie McGinty, issued a statement calling the act “unacceptable” and urging the police to “hold the people accountable for it responsible,” PhillyVoice reports.

The graffiti were sprayed late Saturday or early Sunday, and police are currently investigating, PhillyVoice reported.
