Penn students may be known for their drive, but drivers should steer clear.

According to website ValuePenguin, Penn and Drexel students live in the No. 103 best college town for drivers. Philadelphia places third-worst on a list that only goes to 105 towns, only beaten by Seattle and Ann Arbor for worst towns for college drivers.

The list looks at 14 different factors grouped into three main components of the ranking. Penn specifically ranks worst in affordability for drivers, and its highest ranking is in safety (No. 72 of 105).

James Madison University students are the lucky ones — Harrisonburg, VA is the list's top-ranked college town.

Philadelphia — a city of over 1.5 million people — can hardly be described as a "town," but whether or not its campus is a car-happy one is perhaps another story.
