Was Penn your dream school? Well, it is for many current college applicants.
According to a Princeton Review survey, Penn is the No. 10 dream school for students, although it did not crack the top 10 for parents. The survey, which focuses on college hopes and worries, surveyed 9,650 students applying to colleges and 2,412 parents of applicants.
Stanford and Harvard were No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, for both students and parents. Princeton was No. 3 for parents and No. 8 for students while Yale was No. 4 and No. 6 for parents and students, respectively. Cornell cracked the list at No. 9 for students while Columbia was No. 4 for students and No. 7 for parents.
Other schools to crack the list: New York University (NYU), California-Los Angeles (UCLA), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Michigan.
