Feeling tired before class? Try a cup of coffee before your next nap

Scientists have observed that drinking a cup of coffee right before taking a 20 minute nap is more effective in raising alertness than drinking coffee or taking a nap independent of the other.

"Interestingly, there's even some evidence that caffeine naps can help people go for relatively long periods without proper sleep," Vox's Joseph Stromberg wrote.

In April, Arianna Huffington spoke at Penn, warning students not to deprive themselves of sleep.

While taking twenty minute naps throughout the day isn't the solution, an added cup of coffee could certainly help productivity for the hours when you are asleep.
